Terms of Use

These Terms govern your use of thursdayrose.com, your Thursday Rose account and our emails (the "Service"). Thursday Rose is operated by Cara Coley and Karisma Ray ("Thursday Rose," "we," "us" or "our"). By using the Service or creating an account, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. What Thursday Rose is

Thursday Rose is a free planner. From a few answers you give, it suggests a calendar of hair care: when to trim, deep condition, take down or refresh a style, and when to book before your events. The timings are general rules of thumb, not advice about your hair in particular.

2. Not professional advice

The Service, its calendar, reminders and articles are general information. They are not medical, dermatological or professional cosmetology advice, and they don't replace the judgment of your stylist or a health professional. If you have hair loss, scalp problems, breakage you're worried about or any health concern, see a qualified professional.

3. Your account

• You must be 18 or older to create an account.
• Give a real email address you control. You sign in with codes we email to it, so keep access to that inbox secure; anyone who can read your email can sign in to your account.
• One account per person. You are responsible for what happens in your account.

4. The Service is free

Thursday Rose is free to use. If we ever offer paid features, they will be optional and described separately before you pay anything.

5. Your content

Your answers, notes, visit log and stylist details are yours. You give us permission to store and process them only to run the Service for you, as described in the Privacy Policy. Don't add anything you don't have the right to share, and please don't add health or medical information.

6. Emails

We email you sign-in codes when you ask for them and, if reminders are on, reminders about items on your calendar. You can turn reminders off in any reminder email or in your settings.

7. Acceptable use

Don't misuse the Service: no attempts to access other people's accounts or our systems, no automated sign-up or sign-in requests, no interfering with the Service's security or operation, and no using it to break the law.

8. Stylists and other websites

Thursday Rose does not recommend, employ or vouch for any stylist, salon or booking service. Links you save, and links in our articles, go to other websites that we don't control. Your dealings with stylists and booking services are between you and them.

9. Changes and ending

We may change, pause or stop the Service or any part of it. You can delete your account at any time from your plan page. We may suspend or delete an account that breaks these Terms. If we decide to shut the Service down, we will email account holders at least 30 days before deleting their data.

10. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of fitness for a particular purpose. We don't promise that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free, that a reminder will always arrive, or that any timing suits your hair.

11. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Thursday Rose, Cara Coley and Karisma Ray will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss arising from a missed or late reminder, or from relying on the calendar. Because the Service is free, our total liability for any claim related to the Service or these Terms is limited to one hundred U.S. dollars (US $100). Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of these may not apply to you.

12. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida and applicable U.S. federal law, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Miami-Dade County, Florida. Before filing any claim, you agree to email hello@thursdayrose.com and try in good faith to resolve it informally for at least 30 days.

13. Changes to these Terms

If we change these Terms, we will post the new version here and update the date at the top. If a change is material, we will email account holders before it takes effect. Continuing to use the Service after that means you accept the new Terms.
